September 6: There are people who strive hard in their middle age to be bestowed with an honorable title and gain respect in the eyes of the world. Ten-year-old Anupriya Amitkumar Gawade has overtaken them the way a Lamborghini would overtake an ordinary sedan. The youngest in the world to receive triple doctorate, Grandmaster Bharatbhushan Prof. Dr. Anupriya Amitkumar Gawade is so immensely talented that no words, spoken or written, could possibly describe her capabilities and achievements adequately.

Having started at the age of four, Anupriya first came to the notice of her teachers, who observed that she had an extraordinary level of grasping capacity. Born in Kolhapur to C.A. Amitkumar Gawade and Prof. Dr. Akshata Gawade, Anupriya is exceptionally gifted academically and has more than enough achievements and honours to show for it. At the tender age of eight years, she was given the title of the Grandmaster for reciting thirty-five articles of the Indian Constitution in merely six minutes and ten seconds – a feat that even accomplished lawyers with immense experience can’t perform. Not only this, Anupriya also recited the entire United Nations Convention on the rights of children in merely four minutes and eleven seconds.

She was also the youngest speaker at the International Conference organised by 21st Digi-Skillz and the International Human Rights Peace and Anti-Corruption Foundation, where she represented India globally amidst sixty-one speakers from twenty-eight countries. The title of ‘professor’ was bestowed upon her by the Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace University, Florida, USA, and she is the youngest in the world to hold the title ever. How astonishing is this – a mother and daughter, both holding the title of professor, while the daughter is barely eleven years old.

It should not come as a surprise that Anupriya also has a publication to her name. She presented her extensive piece of work on the Children’s Rights and Sustainable Development at the international conference organised by the IHRPACF. She also participated in the making of, and presented the paper on the Constitution of India and Human Rights at an event organised by the National Human Rights Organisation in 2021. While these are remarkable accomplishments in themselves, the list of Anupriya’s achievements goes on.

Anupriya was appointed the Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace Ambassador by the International Institute of Self Reliance. She was also appointed the Brand Ambassador for the State of Maharashtra and her responsibilities included spreading awareness about the Constitution and the rights of children. Her grasp of the Constitution is also reflected in the fact that she was appointed the Brand Ambassador of the Kolhapur District Constitution Committee.

Anupriya enjoys mention in various record books at the national and the international level. She has been mentioned in the India Book of Records, the Asia Book of Records, the International Book of Records, the Future Kalams Book of Records, the UK World Records Book, and several more. She has also received several awards such as the Bal Ratna Award by Human Resource Development Trust, Mumbai, the Dhruv Ratna Award, the India Icon Award by the National Human Rights Organization, and several others. In total till now, Anupriya has been bestowed with four International awards, 21 National awards, three State and 9 regional awards.

Anupriya is also a very sharp student. She has secured several gold medals at various national and international Olympiads and academic competitions. Her ambition includes being a civil servant and serving her country with the powers and the responsibilities that come with the office of a civil servant.

With such remarkable talent, Anupriya is sure to make a huge positive impact at a global level. She is immensely talented and the path she has chosen guarantee immense success in the time to come.
